Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad and other shareholders of Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Sdn Bhd (Sprint) are due to invest another RM200 million in the company which holds the concession for the Sprint Highway.
Sprint manages the Damansara Link, Kerinchi Link and the Penchala Link. The investment is an undertaking by the shareholders of Sprint, which will provide additional comfort to holders of its restructured Islamic bonds.
The new financing structure is done to better match the expected cashflow projection of Sprint. This is based on traffic projections by Halcrow Consultants Sdn Bhd.
