KPS To Privatise KHSB?

Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS) is looking to restructure the group with a possible eye on privatising its subsidiary Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB).

Both companies are linked to the Selangor Government, which wants the management to look into ways of adding value to shareholders. In this respect, sources say KPS, which is magority owned by Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB), has been given the mandate to look into a restructuring exercise.

KPS officials, when contacted, say the grup is always looking at ways to enhance the value of its investments and will not rule out a privatisation of KHSB. They add that privatisation is one of the many possible ways to add value.
